On the 25th, i spent a better part of the day at home, but i went out later in the evening with my best girl..We didn't do anything extraordinary but i had mad fun.. No boyfriend wahala, just "emi ati ore mi". We ate and watched home videos..lol!! This one is called "The wrong woman". I just love nigerian love stories. What was supposed to be a heated love scene between Ini Edo and Kalu Ikeagwu had us saying "eeeewwwwwww" digustedly..lol. I dont know why but most Nigerian movies fail to evoke the intended emotion. most times, the reverse is the case. oh well, ore mi made a delicacy she likes to call "pasta salad". it was so nice that i stuffed myself with it and had a bad case of overfeeding. As soon as i got home, i jumped on my bed without even bothering to change and woke up at 2pm the next day. lmao!!

I was so in love with the delicacy that i even took a pic..lol!!

Well today im gonna let y'all enjoy a sneak preview of my book..Its titled REFLECTIONS and its set in the city of Port-Harcourt in Nigeria..
Enjoy.....
" It was a market day in the city of Port-Harcourt in Nigeria and Eleme junction was crowded with people hurrying to the big market known as oil mill". The time was 1pm and the sun was scorching.Hawkers were everywhere selling 'pure water' and other items, the honks of trailers were deafening and passing vehicles emmited thick black smoke.
Amidst the hustling and bustling of the busy crowd, a young girl of about 25 years of age was walking up the street tiredly. She was chocolate colored and tall, she had slightly brown hair and a very lovely figure. Her shoes were covered with dust and she looked rather dejected.
She had been on the main road for the past hour trying to get a cab or a bus to school all to no avail. As usual, on a market day like this, there was always difficulty in getting any form of transportation. She was seriously debating going home when finally, a bus pulled into the curb in front of her. All of a sudden, there was a mad rush as people from nowhere it seemed, made a frenzied dash for the bus. As she struggled to get into the bus, a very bulky woman pushed her aside roughly and climbed clumsily into the bus. The conductor announced that the bus was full, and the driver drove away leaving a cloud of dust behind.
As she stared at the leaving vehicle, she felt her eyes water. She had just had a row with her sister and had stormed out of the house with hopes of going to sort out some things in school. Now that plan seemed abortive, since getting a cab to school was fruitless. She heaved a deep sigh and started walking down the street in a trance-like state. As she was crossing the road, she almost got hit by a cab driver and the passengers angrily abused her. "You no go look where you dey go? Foolish girl!! abi you wan die?". She hardly heard them. she just kept going until finally, she reached a roadside kiosk. As she took a seat on one of the benches near the kiosk, she looked at a nearby billboard and the image of a very beautiful woman smiled down at her. a tear rolled down her right cheek and suddenly, she felt as if she was looking into the image of her almost shattered life"
